Training

As there is no specific qualification in event construction and staging, Event Staging and Structures Ltd have always relied on in house training and regular assessments of employees.

We provide our newest employees with regular assessments of their work to ensure that they are progressing forward and learning the sufficient skills to make them successful in the event construction and staging industry.
Having over 20 years of experience in the staging industry we have staff that are able to sufficiently train and educate new employees through on the job guidance and support to ensure that our employees are working to the desired level that complies with HSE Health and Safety regulations.

We provide our newest employees with regular assessments of their work to ensure that they are progressing forward and learning the sufficient skills to make them successful in the event construction and staging industry. We also provide older employees that have worked with us for many years the opportunity to refresh their skill and knowledge with refresher assessments carried out by management.

All of our assessments comply with HSE health and safety regulations and we strive to offer our employees the best training and assessment that is available to them. Assessments are carried out on the job and workers are assessed by crew bosses and project managers. The assessors will take into consideration their ability to work on the job, their initiative, speed of working, problem solving skills, physical ability and strength and willingness to work. The assessments are evaluated and then employees are informed of their strengths and weakness and given support and guidance on how to improve on their weaknesses and maintain their strengths.

This is a tried and tested scheme that we have used over the 20 years that we have been a successful staging company and will hopefully use for the next 20 years so to better ourselves as a company.
